Recovery Logistics
Every piece is made or prepared by the studio in Delhi and sent under insured transit to the buyer.
Preparation. Rings are made to order after payment. The lead time is shown on the ring's page and confirmed in your order confirmation, and the ring is sent when it is finished. Artifacts are documented, photographed, wrapped to the archive's standard specification, and sent with a hand-drafted certificate of provenance that identifies the piece by file reference, describes its composition and origin, and is signed by Rajat K. Luthra.
Transit. Within India, pieces are sent by registered courier, insured for the value of the piece. Abroad, they are sent by a partnered international courier able to clear customs in the destination country. The studio declares the full value at customs and does not undervalue shipments. Tracking details are sent to you by email when your piece is dispatched.
Customs. The buyer is responsible for any import duties, taxes or customs charges levied by the destination country. The studio provides the documents needed for clearance and does not prepay buyer-side duties unless that is agreed in writing.
Timing. Artifacts are prepared and dispatched within ten working days of the acquisition being confirmed. Transit time depends on the destination.
Loss or damage. If a parcel looks damaged when it arrives, photograph it and the piece before you open it further. Report loss or damage to info@yoddhalabs.com within seven days of delivery, or of the date it was due. The studio handles the insurance claim and puts the piece right as set out in Return to Archive.
Questions. Write to info@yoddhalabs.com with your order number.
