Privacy Policy

The archive collects the minimum information required to correspond with its visitors and to deliver the artifacts they acquire. No more, no less.

What is collected. When a visitor enlists to the Dispatch, the archive collects their email address. When a visitor inquires about an artifact, the archive collects whatever information the visitor chooses to include in their correspondence — typically name, location, and the intent of their inquiry. When a visitor browses the archive, standard web analytics — page visits, general location, browser type — are collected through Shopify's default analytics tools and used to understand traffic patterns.

What is not collected. The archive does not request payment information in the absence of an active acquisition. The archive does not track visitors across other websites. The archive does not operate third-party advertising systems.

Cookies. The archive uses cookies for session management and analytics. These are standard to Shopify-hosted sites. Visitors may refuse cookies through their browser settings; some features of the site may become unavailable.

The Dispatch list. The Dispatch list is maintained by the studio for the purpose of delivering the weekly Dispatch and occasional correspondence regarding the archive. The list is not sold, shared, rented, or provided to third parties. Visitors may stand down from the Dispatch at any time through the link provided in each dispatch email, or by writing to info@yoddhalabs.com.

Data processing. Personal data is processed by Shopify Inc. and its subprocessors as part of the hosting infrastructure of the archive. Data is stored on servers located in accordance with Shopify's published data residency policies.

Rights. Visitors in jurisdictions where applicable law grants them rights regarding their personal data — including the EU under the General Data Protection Regulation, California under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and others — may exercise those rights by writing to info@yoddhalabs.com. The archive responds to such requests in the same register it responds to all correspondence.

Retention. Dispatch-list entries are retained until the visitor stands down. Inquiry correspondence is retained for the duration of the inquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter for the studio's records.
