श्रीचक्रराजनिलया Śrīcakrarājanilayā Whose Dwelling Is the Śrī-Cakra

Name 342. She dwells in the Śrī-cakra — not as an occupant within a boundary, but as the one whose dwelling is the geometry itself. Bhāskararāya's commentary notes that to see the cakra rightly is to see her; to see her rightly is to become the cakra. Three categories collapse: place, occupant, and the act of seeing are one.

The compiler files this name on day 1349 of the compilation. Each day, a different name. One thousand and eight names. The archive is the practice.

NAME 342 OF 1,008 · COMPILATION YL-COMP-1349 · 11 SEPTEMBER 2026

On Name 104, the question is not what dwelling means — it is whether we have ever stopped looking for a dwelling we are already inside.

The Sahasranāma does not move forward. It rotates. What returns is not repetition but recognition.

Every civilisation that took the interior seriously named the same figure.

  • Ram and Krishna, in the Indian epics.
  • The saint-soldier of the Punjab.
  • The samurai who sat zazen before he drew.
  • Marcus Aurelius, writing philosophy on campaign.
  • The Sufi poet-warriors.
  • The warrior societies of the plains, who fasted and sought vision before they were trusted with power.

Different names, one shape. The person who is effective in the world and awake within it.

Few of those traditions left written instructions that survive. The ones we work from did, and they mapped the summit in detail. That is why we work where we work. It is a matter of access, not of rank.

This is an archive that is also a studio.

Every tradition that took the interior seriously assembled the same apparatus: stories that install the ideal, texts that map the way, symbols that mark the commitment, techniques that do the work, a discipline that sustains it, and a world that holds whoever finishes. One part was never available to them. Measurement. It is the part that lets the rest be checked, and it is the part in build.

Two layers stand. The others are named here before they exist, so the record shows what was promised.
